Which cup do I need?

  • Espresso, tasters and samples: 4oz kraft cafe cups
  • Water coolers, vending, tea and squash: 7oz white paper cups or 7oz clear plastic cups
  • Tea and coffee served on the spot: 8oz white paper cups
  • Takeaway coffee: 8oz ripple cups with lids, or 12oz and 16oz ripple cups for larger sizes
  • Smoothies, iced coffee and milkshakes: 12oz or 16oz smoothie cups with dome lids
  • Parties: 12oz gold foil cups, and 1oz or 2oz shot glasses

Single wall or ripple wall?

Single wall cups are one layer of paper. They're fine for drinks served straight away, but they can feel warm to hold with very hot drinks. Ripple wall cups have a textured outer wall that makes hot drinks comfortable to hold, so they're the better choice for takeaway coffee.

Lids

Our 8oz ripple coffee cups come with lids, and the smoothie cups come with dome lids that have a hole for a straw. For trade orders we also stock black lockable sipper lids in 80mm and 90mm. Match the lid to the cup's rim: the 80mm lid is sized for cups with an 8cm rim, such as our 8oz white paper cups.
